About Me
I’m Kelly Woolf, a psychotherapist, consultant, and creative producer. My work has always lived at the crossroads of personal growth and systemic change.
Whether sitting with someone in the therapy room, guiding an organization through strategic planning and growth, or producing stories that bring purpose to life, I believe lasting change requires both vision and courage.
The connection between these roles is central to my work: change—whether personal, organizational, or societal—requires a balance of strategic thinking, relational depth, and systems awareness. My background as a clinical social worker informs my ability to build strong, mission-driven teams and partnerships, while my expertise in nonprofit leadership gives me a macro lens to help individuals and organizations navigate complex systems.
In my consulting practice, I work with nonprofits, startups, and mission-driven leaders to bring structure and momentum to growth. I specialize in strategic planning, business modeling, brand development, and partnerships that strengthen mission and expand reach. My work combines long-range vision with actionable pathways, ensuring that strategies don’t just sound inspiring but are actionable and sustainable.
Before focusing on consulting, I served as Chief Impact Officer at Multiplying Good, where I led cross-functional initiatives in strategic planning, partnerships, brand building, and board collaboration. My role was to translate vision into action, aligning teams, modernizing a fifty-year-old brand through a full rebrand, and leading national recognition and youth engagement programs. Earlier in my career, I worked across initiatives in cancer prevention, behavioral health, and cause-based impact investing.
Alongside this work, I practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of clinical experience. I provide psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples. My early work in New York City’s outpatient mental health system, primarily with high-risk populations, sharpened my expertise in trauma and equity-centered care. Today, I bring that same depth and commitment into my private practice, creating spaces where people can move through challenges and step into growth.
Storytelling has also been a central part of my work. From directing award shows to producing vignettes for nonprofits and executive producing an animated short film, I use creative production as another way to connect people to purpose and amplify impact.
Across all of these areas, what ties my work together is a commitment to values that guide everything I do: equity and social justice, authenticity in relationships, attention to both detail and vision, and creating spaces where people and systems can grow.
I hold a BA in Psychology from The New School, an MSW from New York University, and am a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I also serve on the board of We Got Us Now, a national organization led by and for children of incarcerated parents.
